CBD Oils

CBD Oils perhaps hold the largest share of the UK CBD market and are one of the faster-acting methods of consuming CBD as they can be used orally, similar to CBD Sprays.

Due to increasing demand, we here at Simply Canna offer a range of various branded CBD Oils including a variety of refined CBD Oil drops and flavoured oils, all of which we offer to provide our customers with a variety of options when it comes to the consumption of CBD.

How to take CBD Oil

Taking CBD Oil is a quick and easy process. Similar to CBD Sprays, CBD Oils are taking orally. However, the recommended method involves taking the pipette and using it to squeeze a few drops of CBD Oil under the tongue as this circumnavigates the digestive system allowing you to receive the benefits associated with CBD products in a matter of minutes.

What is CBD Oil good for?

CBD Oils contain a lot of the same benefits as the majority of CBD products and recent studies have helped to demonstrate the range of health benefits CBD Oil can provide.

Some of the main benefits associated with all CBD products include:

  • Reduces the effects of chronic pain
  • May reduce the effects of acne and other skin disorders
  • Reduces joint inflammation
  • Help ease the symptoms associated with cancer and chemotherapy
  • Help ease the issues associated with mental issues such as anxiety and depression

As CBD sprays are applied orally, usually under the tongue, they can reach your circulatory system a lot faster than it being swallowed meaning you can feel the associated benefits a lot quicker.

How else can CBD Oil be used?

CBD Oil is the foundation of a range of other CBD products, including many of those we stock at simply canna, such as CBD Capsules, CBD Coffee and CBD edibles

In fact, it is the wide variety of uses that CBD Oil has that has helped it to dominate the UK CBD market and rise in popularity over the last few years.

How to measure your CBD Oil dosage?

If it is your first time using CBD products it is always best, to begin with, a single drop of oil to help gauge your bodies reaction. Once you know how you will react you can begin to gradually increase the dosage as required to help ensure you are receiving the full benefits of CBD Oil.

What is CBD?

CBD is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant and is a naturally occurring substance that is now being used for its medicinal properties in products such as CBD Coffee, CBD Balms and CBD Oils.

Unlike THC, CBD doesn’t provide a psychoactive effect and is more commonly known for the relaxing and calming sensation associated with it.

What is a CBD tincture?

After learning about CBD oil, you may be wondering what a CBD tincture is. There are a few factors to consider when deciding between CBD tincture and CBD oil. A tincture is made from an alcohol- or alcohol-and-water-based solution. In the industry, the process of making a tincture entails soaking hemp material in high-proof alcohol and slowly heating it for an extended period of time.

This method infuses the CBD molecules with alcohol, which is then boiled out of the solution, leaving a liquid capable of delivering CBD compounds throughout the body. Many manufacturers in the consumer CBD market will substitute a carrier oil for the alcohol and add additional ingredients, such as natural flavourings, to improve the taste.

CBD tinctures also contain CBD isolates extracted from the flower, stalk, and leaves of Cannabis sativa, but via alcohol extraction rather than CO2 extraction. Other tinctures may substitute vinegar or glycerin for the alcohol as a stripping agent. The primary distinction is that a tincture will utilise a liquid solvent to extract CBD isolates, whereas commercial CBD oil will utilise carbon dioxide.

What is THC?

THC is the main psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant and is the chemical that produces the ‘high’ sensation. This compound is commonly consumed by smoking cannabis but can be found in oils, edibles, capsules and more.

In order for cannabis products to be deemed legal, they must contain no more than 0.3% THC; however, most CBD products contain no THC and are used mainly for the benefits associated with CBD.

Is CBD safe to use?

CBD is generally considered safe to use however there are some associated side effects that can occur should you have an adverse reaction. If you are unsure about using CBD it is always best to consult a trained medical professional beforehand.

Potential side effects

As mentioned above there are some side effects associated with CBD and whilst these are rare there have been cases where CBD users have had an adverse reaction and have experienced side effects such as:

  • Dry mouth
  • Diarrhoea
  • Reduced appetite
  • Drowsiness
  • Fatigue

If you have never used CBD before it is best to start with a smaller dose and gauge how your body reacts, you can always increase the dosage as required.
